Lazarus AI is a digital memorial and grief support platform. We are not equipped to respond to any type of emergency, including:

• Medical emergencies (heart attack, overdose, injury, illness)
• Mental health crises (suicidal ideation, self-harm, psychotic episodes)
• Physical danger (domestic violence, assault, threats)
• Natural disasters or accidents
• Child welfare emergencies

Our automated systems and staff are not equipped to dispatch help, call emergency services on your behalf, or provide real-time crisis support. If there is any risk to life, call 911 immediately.

Emotional Safeguards on Lazarus AI

Lazarus AI includes an automated Emotional Safeguard System that monitors interactions for signs of distress. When triggered, it:

• Immediately displays emergency and crisis resources
• Pauses AI features that may be harmful in a crisis state
• Strongly encourages the user to contact a real person

This automated system is a safety net, not a crisis response service. It cannot contact emergency services, speak with you in real time, or guarantee an appropriate response in all situations. It is designed to point you toward real help as quickly as possible.

If You Are Concerned About Another User

If you believe another person using Lazarus AI is in immediate danger, please:

• Call 911 if you know their location and they are in immediate physical danger
• Contact us at [email protected] — while we cannot dispatch emergency services, we can review account activity in cooperation with law enforcement if requested through proper legal channels
